    2833 Chelsea Pl N Clearwater, FL 33759, USA - Pinellas County
    At the intersection of Soule Road and Union Street the crosswalk lines were recently repainted on the West side of the intersection across Union Street by City of Clearwater however the equally deteriorated and barely visible lines across the South and East sides of the intersection were not repainted and there likely should be lines along the North side of the intersection as well. This intersection is used by Pinellas County Schools as a bus stop, has a crossing guard for students walking to McMullen-Booth Elementary, and has a good bit of foot traffic from local residents walking and jogging in the area so it really should have well painted crosswalk lines on all sides to remind drivers to stop for pedestrians trying to cross the road at the intersection. City of Clearwater advised the remaining faded lines are on County maintained.legs of the intersection.
  • 542 Starkey Rd Largo, FL 33771, USA - Largo
    Eastbound East Bay Left turn on to Keene green light timing is short. Only half to two thirds of vehicles in turn lanes may proceed during a light cycle. Today it was so backed up that vehicles waiting to turn were stopped in the left most through traffic lane, creating a hazardous situation as they waited for the turn. Please have traffic engineering evaluate and extend the left turn portion of the light cycle to allow time for the turn lanes to fully clear.

    Traffic today was gridlocked to the point a fire truck responding to a call was delayed over a minute due to having to stop in traffic. Central Park light timing is too short and not in sync with Seminole light backing up traffic well beyond Seminole. Fixing this light timing to allow proper traffic flow needs to be a priority as it is clearly not only an annoyance to commuters but also a public safety issue.

    The light timing at East / West Bay and Seminole results in backups to 4th Street and beyond on a regular basis. The signal needs to run longer cycles; especially during peak traffic times. Also the light at Central Park Drive needs to be coordinated in its timing since frequently traffic will back up in the span of East Bay between Central Park and Seminole so even when the light at Seminole is green; you cannot go due to traffic being backed up to the intersection.
  • 3101 Florida 580 Safety Harbor, Florida - Pinellas County
    Signal timing seems incorrect. Green eastbound signal on 580 lasts approximately 5 seconds resulting in a traffic backup requiring a wait through multiple light cycles.
