Regarding trash not picked up at 3 locations.
The other 2 have brought their cans back up to their house.
I'm sure they will gladly put them out again this next coming trash pickup.
3 driveways on that part of 3rd street NW between Whipple NW and Grandview NW. Cans are out by road at end of driveways.
All 3 are obvious. Sanitation workers need to do their job and stop being so loud with their mouths. Not pleasant to hear early in the orning. Truck noise we understand. Loudmouths yelling we don't.

Trash has NOT been picked up at 3 locations between Whipple Ave NW and Grandview Ave NW. Needs imediate attention.

This property on the SE corner of Whipple and 3rd St NW has a shrub on the corner that obstructs the view of on coming traffic in the northbound lane of Whipple. When sitting at the light to make a right turn on red, you have to pull into the intersection and risk getting hit to see past this bush.
It is a rental.
Notify the property owner to trim this bush or risk a lawsuit.

Numerous potholes need filled. When exiting Country Fair shopping center, Aurora is filled with potholes that are in serious repair. Fill them in.
And not just a shovel full. Fill completely.

Concerning issue #12941055 need for street lights.
Just how long is this "technical analysis" by AEP and the city going to take? A week? A few weeks? Month? Months?
Has the original complaint been shared with CPD for increased patrol? If not, why not?

No Parking sign on south side of 3rd Street NW is knocked over laying on the ground. Suggest sign be put further a few feet further than original location. We know it's asking a lot but oh well.
Both this sign and the one on the opposite sign of the street are too close to the Whipple Ave. intersection and are of no use prohibiting vehicles from parking in no parking on both sides of 3rd NW.

This is not an animal control issue that police are needed for. It is an ANIMAL ABUSE CASE !!! Can't you people comprehend? Are you too lazy and stupid to call the Humane Society? No, you would rather sit there and type away at the keyboard and input the information for someone else to call them. So totally useless and such a waste of time you are. Regarding this address and 302 Grandview NW. You close the issues because of duplicate entries. Well our question to you, Mr. Decision Maker, has anything been addressed to the owners of these animals at BOTH addresses? Or are you and the city just sweeping it under the rug as usual, hoping the problem goes away on its own OR we get tired of the inaction by this city and you?
Well sorry to break the news to you, we aren't going anywhere AND we will continue to report these issues and be PITA until they are resolved.

Whoever you have collecting and emptying the trash containers left a huge mess in the middle of the street. Leave a mess and drive off? Seriously?

Get someone out here ASAP to clean up the mess your boys left behind.

Sad thing is I was standing in my driveway and saw it. Are they that stupid? No need to answer just get someone out here ASAP.

There was no loose trash in the container. All trash was in bags.

Original complaint was for hanging gutter and black mold on building. An inspection was to be done by personnel from the Building Dept. after repairs were made.
Hanging gutter has been fixed. Properly? Doubtful. Black mold is still on North side of structure.
If the city says inspection was done, it wasn't if the black mold is still present.
The Director of city services needs to follow up on the follow up of Building Dept. personnel. But then this is Canton. You should not have to be told to follow up. Acquire some common sense Service Director and Building Dept.

Referring to issue # 11038338. Issue was closed. Any action taken to correct potential falling tree limbs onto cars?
Yeah, you'll probably close this issue without any action taken also.

Once again Spectrum van, parked 24/7 on road. Always parked. Previous complaint was made and addressed. Some people just never get it. Start writing tickets or impound.

The van that is parked, Spectrum, is where a black pickup had been parked for months if not years until forced to move it. Now this Spectrum van has been parked there with cones since beginning of year. Highly doubt that a Spectrum technician is working in the house that it is parked in front of. Get it moved along with Treiber lawn and landscaping trailers/vehicles. If Treiber wants to run a landscaping company, tell them NOT in a residential neighborhood.
Or are they SPECIAL?

Siding on rear of house has been hanging loose/missing for at least 4 months. Also can be seen from Whipple Ave.
The mess in back in the fenced in area has been addressed, how about looking into this and getting it taken care of.

This complaint is for every intersection that city crews have done this. Congratulations City of Canton snow removal. Plowing the snow on each corner of the intersection just resulted in mounds of snow onto where pedestrians can no longer access. Yes there are individuals who traverse the sidewalks, especially those of us who clear the sidewalk And the area where you UN-conveniently piled the snow. Way to go! Another boneheaded decision by this city. We certainly hope you do not expect residents to clear this mess to enable those that use the sidewalk. YOU made the mess, YOU clean it up! We do our part to keep the sidewalks passable and then YOU foul it up! Nice job. My corner access was cleared by ME today. THANKS FOR PILING SNOW ON IT!

Sanitation employees tossing new containers in such a manner that the container(s) are ending up on their side or back. This is being reported so that any damage incurred to container(s) by sanitation employees will not be the responsibility of the homeowner but the city. Time and date: 11:15 AM 11/9/2020. Please instruct your employees as to the proper care and handling of the containers immediately.

Barking dogs AGAIN!! Police have been notified. This is the 3rd complaint made on this site. This time, both residents, they are renters, stood outside with a contractor(lawn) and allowed the dogs inside to bark and DID NOTHING! Dogs barked continually until the contractor left. We are beyond sick and tired of it. We can't even sit in our house with the windows closed without hearing the howling bark of the dogs. We had to close our windows on such a nice day to get some fresh air.
This selfish behavior of these people has to stop. Maybe a citation and hefty fine will get their attention!

This is NOT at this address. It has to do with speeding drivers who are turning EAST onto 3rd St NW from Whipple Ave. NW.
25 MPH stop sign was erected a few years ago and speeding drivers are still a huge problem.
Today between the hours of 11:00 AM and NOON, a dark gray Jeep Wrangler, a dark blue maybe black Kia Soul, and silver Mazda, all were speeding as they turned off of Whipple.
This happens on 3rd NW until they have to stop at Valleyview NW.
Speeders also race West on 3rd to the traffic light at the intersection at Whipple NW.
CPD NEEDS to step up enforcement. There are 3 driveways on 3rd NW between Whipple and Grandview. Two very close to the intersection.

Can something be done about early trash set out at this address. For the last month and a half on Saturdays, huge amounts of trash that would have filled a city dumpster have been set out. Trash pickup is on Monday.
With Labor Day holiday coming next week, this issue should be addressed by the city immediately so residents will not have to look at huge pile of trash all NEXT weekend until Tuesday.
Inform them that dumpsters are available for rent from the city AND charge them for setting out huge amounts of trash the last month and a half. Why should this person pay what everyone else does that sets out a "normal" amount weekly? Fair? Not even close!
