    Mosquitoes are terrible especially at dusk. Hasn't rained and bromeliads are dry. Plant nursery to my east has plastic tarp down as ground cloth that is not permeable and has standing water.

    "Technician" came by today and did nothing but blame all the mosquitoes on bromeliads. Are bromeliads illegal? Google mosquito control in Pinellas and you will get a dozen or so private companies offering mosquito control. Why are there so many private companies offering mosquito control when the tax payers are already paying taxes for mosquito control? The reason is because the county mosquito control does such a poor job of controlling mosquitoes.

    I live in an area zoned agriculture. There is a 2 acre plant nursery next to me that has black tarp down for ground cloth. It holds water. Also, it is heavily wood here. The mosquitoes are terrible. I've lived here for over 30 years and the only good control there has been here has been when the area was treated with the helicopter. PLEASE TREAT THIS AREA WITH THE HELICOPTER. If the mosquitoes are this bad before the rainy season, I hate to think how bad they will be once the rains arrive.

    Neighbor said your technician blamed all the mosquitoes on bromeliads in our yards and won't treat them for mosquitoes more than once a year. Said it was up to the homeowner. What type of mosquitoes do we have? Of the 3000 types of mosquitoes that we know to exist, only 3 types are known to lay eggs in bromeliads. Quit making excuses for your inability to control mosquitoes and do your job! Where's the helicopter?

    There's lots of standing water and lots of mosquitoes. Would you please make an aerial application. I lived here for nearly 40 years and aerial application is the only treatment that has controlled mosquitoes under these condtions.

    Mosquitoes are biting throughout the day. The ankle biters are particularly bad in the late afternoon and early evening. I have lived here for over 35 years and the only good control I've ever had here is from aerial treatment. One would be greatly appreciated.

    Mosquitoes are bad throughout the day. I know your technician was here a week ago, but did he treat the neighbors' yards also? There are numerous bromelaids at my neighbor to the east of me.
