This section of Willis Avenue is very unsafe due to cars speeding through here coming from Mystic Ave. Cars park on both sides of the road leaving just one lane of travel (even though it is a 2-way street) which slows the traffic somewhat. However, during non-peak hours, drivers tend to put pedal to the metal, endangering residents, commuters and Columbus Elementary School students. Speed bumps would be a welcome addition. If drivers learn they cannot speed through this area, they will either learn to slow down or seek an alternate route.
