463 Palisade Avenue is a vacant building. Residents report it to SeeClickFix, the door gets boarded up, then homeless men tear down the boards and occupy building. Please do a better job of boarding it up. Thank you!

A constituent is reporting demolition work taking place next door to their property that has been ongoing for three weeks. The constituent says that loud machinery is being used on the weekends.

Speed hump request on 8th between Coles and Monmouth

Many Vehicles hit the gas and speed down 8th to Monmouth. School children and Pedestrians crossing the street at the crosswalks and residents getting out of their parked cars crossing 8th are fearful of being hit by these speeding cars.

A speed hump on 8th Street between Coles and Monmouth is much needed.

Trash and overgrowth on Marin Blvd between 18th and Newark; both sides of the street.

These 2 men were working on 325 8th Street this week on Friday. Unfortunately they placed and left a bunch of trash on our neighbors sidewalk in front their house on their sidewalk at 332 1/2 8th. This trash debris includes a big plastic bucket full of hard dried cement, wood boards, and a cardboard box full of disgarded Romex electrical wire. Isn't Romex wire run from an electrical panel through the walls to supply electrical to wall outlets? That major electrical work may require a city permit, no?
Can we please have a Code Inspector to check if they have proper city permits required and for Romex electrical wire work? Thank you!

Across the street from address 255 Eighth Street and along the Hamilton Park's perimeter fence sidewalk.between Jersey and McWilliams, there are Dangerously Low Hanging Tree Branches that are impeeding residents safe passage on this public sidewalk. These low hanging branches need to be trimmed back as soon as possible to prevent possible injury.

This construction has been happening not only during the week, but also on weekends! There is a city ordinance prohibiting construction on weekends, unless given special permit by the city! Dies this developer have proper permits?
Developer's construction site at 338 7th Street yesterday afternoon, the back of this house collapsed. See first picture. JCFD immediatly called by scared neighbors and on scene. Neighbors on either side had to be evacuated including an elderly woman. Neighbors say they've had issues with this construction at this address from day one.
Hope JCFD report filed and Code Enforcement issues stop work order until this work can be done properly. Developer is 338 7th St. LLC.

DOG WASTE sign has very loose bottom bolt. Sign is located in front of 304 8th Street and is making a very loud banging noise in the wind.

There's a vandalized broken public payphone box mounted on the outside wall of the building of Binny Liquors, 306 Newark Ave., Jersey City, NJ.
Is this public payphone suppose to be in working condition for public use?
If not, this payphone is an eyesore and should be removed. Thank you!

As you can see from this picture, this fence is in serious hazardous condition at James J. Ferris High School, 35 Colgate St, Jersey City, NJ and is in immediate need of repair and may prove to be a hazardous liability to pedestrians and children. Please have this fence fixed to prevent injury. Thank you.

This car appears to be abandoned and collecting many parking tickets on the windshield, it's parked in front of 62 Van Reipen Ave.

Light post outside the Enos Jones skate park shocked our neighbor's dog this morning. Pup freaked out for a few moments but seems okay now.
