There is a large white truck that is hanging a c able along Bentley Avenue. The cable is being attached loosely to the already large number of existing cables running along Bentley Avenue and the cables are now hanging much lower due to the heavy load on the supporting poles. The men would not identify the company they were hanging the cable for and were working in an white unmarked truck. Please tell me who they are and if they were given authorization by the City of Jersey City to do this work. They would not identify the company with whom they are working and the company for whom they were hanging the cable. Please let me know if the proper authorities were aware of this and if the company was issued the proper permits to do this work. I am concerned that the existing poles to which all the cables are attached are sufficient to carry the load and if the cables are being hung in accordance with the law and best practice specifications.
