I just moved to Clark St and I have heard extremely loud bird noises the past 2 nights, starting at midnight each night and going until the wee hours of the morning. At first I thought it was a car alarm... and then I realized it was some sort of a mechanical bird noise. The sound emitted various bird calls (from eagle screeches to crows to lots of birds in between), repeating each a few times and then moving on to the next. I got out of bed last night to investigate the sound's source, and I'm pretty sure it's coming from a back yard of a house on Humphrey (4 or 5 houses up, walking from Orange to State). I have a feeling someone is running a machine to make noises to keep something out of a garden, but I'm not sure!
With the temperatures climbing, I have to sleep with the window open, and this is keeping me up/waking me up all night long.

I was riding my bike to work this morning down Temple St. A city bus (the extra extra long kind, #1046 to be exact) speedily came up from behind me, passed me, and immediately pulled over to the right to make a stop, thus trapping me between it and the sidewalk. People then started getting out of the various doors and I just about knocked one over while I was slowing to a stop (of course apologizing and explaining that Gosh, sorry, I was just cut off by the bus!).

I feel as if city buses do not have regard for cyclists most times, and this incident was especially dangerous. The driver should have slowed down behind me and let me pass the bus stop area before pulling over, obviously.

This cop just parked in the right hand only turning lane at the intersection. Got out of his car, asked the 18-wheeler moving van, also parked in the turning lane behind him, "how long are you guts gonna be?", told them to hurry it up, and went into E City Market to get his lunch.

A city bus coming from the 91 off ramp blatantly ran a red light onto Trumbull, cut me off (a cyclist) as I was going through the intersection (heading towards downtown on Orange).

There needs to be a crosswalk across Whitney Ave to Audubon St. There are several businesses along Whitney at Audubon, and many people need to cross the road at Audubon to access the music school, Creative Arts Workshop, etc. The only other places to cross are Grove and Trumbull streets and this is very inconvenient.
