    Contractor dug up the sidewalk 16 months ago and left the broken concrete and dirt in the front yard of this house. Then they patched part of the sidewalk with asphalt and dumped the extra on the pile, then they poured concrete on the sidewalk and left the concrete mixing tray on the pile. IT HAS BEEN HERE FOR 16 MONTHS. Please enforce maintainence code and have this removed.

    Sidewalk is disintegrating. Some of the sidewalk was poorly patched with asphalt which isn't an approved sidewalk finish. Needs major repair/replacement, but owner won't do anything unless the city forces them.

    The developer has been trying to renovate this 3 story building for over 6 years. Still hasn't finished, but there are some workers there occasionally. I recently noticed a new pipe draining to the sidewalk next to the front door. I can see the downspouts from the roof on the side of the building, so no idea what this pipe is, but it can't be allowed to drain plumbing from a house to the sidewalk

    This is a property owned by a developer who doesn't perform basic site maintenance. The site is an exposed pit with weeds as tall as a person. the sidewalk adjacent to the site has various trash and weeds. Even though the owner isn't building now, they still have responsibilities as a property owner in Jersey City of basic maintenance.

    This site already has 3 stop work orders, but after a short pause, they are back working again. I also saw a kitchen going into the small garage structure which would indicate an illegal apartment as they don't have required light and air.

    Street work contractor isn't providing a safe path for pedestrians. They made a cone path for part of the work, but it dumps you out at a scaffold with no access to the sidewalk forcing you to walk on the street. Many students walk this path to school every day, so please ask the contractor to make this more safe before something bad happens.

    First, I am a licensed architect, so I have knowledge of the building codes. I have seen two stop work order stickers at this site, and work continues. On SDL, there is only a demo permit, no construction permit but construction is happening. Finally, I saw the door open to the small garage structure on the site, shown in picture, and it looks like they are trying to build an illegal apartment. This site needs a visit from a code compliance officer
