I am 72 years old and do a good and timely job of clearing my sidewalk.

I live at the end of a short court and EVERY year the city's snow removal people plow most of the snow on my court up and over my sidewalk instead of plowing it up to the curb. There is plenty of room on the court with no interference with cars if they would pile it up short of the sidewalk (it's a dead end after all). In years past they would push it down to the park at the end of the court. Now EVERY year they push it over my cleared sidewalk, I complain and days later they come around and remove it. This is costly and double the work when they should be doing it right the first time (and ideally pushing it to the park to make it easier for the waste disposal vehicles).

Please get this corrected with the appropriate people so I don't have to repeat this again this year and every year after.

Again, snow has been plowed up in front of my house waiting for removal. Thankfully this time the plow driver refrained from leaving it over the side walk. With more snow on the way, when will a front end loader be coming to remove this mess? In years past, the plow drivers have pushed all the snow down the court and into the park. Why is this no longer done?

The court still has not been cleared of snow. Please get this pushed down to the park ( as has been done in the past) and NOT over the sidewalks we have worked hard to keep clear. It is one thing for the plows to sweep snow across a drive and completely another when the plows mound 4 feet of compacted snow on the sidewalks we are suppose to keep clear.

    DANGEROUS CROSSING!!!
Someone is going to get seriously injured or die at this Newport Rd. overpass to M-14.
Children attending Wines Elementary and Forysthe Middle School use this walkway as well as many other pedestrians young and old. There is no other way to cross over M-14 for at least 3/4 miles.
It will get worse as the snow compacts more and ices up.
DON’T WAIT until someone slips and is hurt, slips and ends up in front of a car, or gets hit by a car when they take to the road to avoid the dangerous sidewalk.
    FIX IT NOW!!!
  • Newport Rd. At M-14 - Ann Arbor
The pedestrian walkway on the Newport Rd. M-14 overpass is covered deep in packed snow pushed up from the roadway. This is very dangerous and a repeat problem after snow falls. This is the only cross over of M-14 for a mile in either direction and the route to both Wines Elementary and Forysthe Middle School. Please remove the snow and ice and have a plan in place to deal with this repeat safety hazard.
