There have been several public works barrels located on Flint Street (in front of and near 35 Flint street) off and on for the last month. Why has this work not been completed by now. The barrels are constantly being struck & knocked over by motorists, and sometimes by teenage pedestrians. What type of work is being done? How long will this continue. ALSO, several ruts or channels have been cut into and across the roadway at the intersections of (1) Bridge and Flint Street (2) Federal and Flint Street and (3) Essex and Flint Street. Motorists often suddenly break when they realize the hazards, and several times there have been "near miss" situations. I'm not sure if or how many actual accidents may have occurred. Also, because of the sudden breaking, Flint Street (between Federal and Essex) has frequently been backing up during rush hour, creating excessive noise and pollution for the surrounding neighbors. Does anybody know what's going on on Flint Street with regards to these defects? Thanks!

Power spikes and brown outs all afternoon in the area. What is going on?
