Have noticed a lot of tanker style semi-trucks traveling on Columbus east of 31 over the past few months. They seem to be coming to/from the water treatment plant. Has increased since the construction detours, but is not fully related to them. It was occurring before.

When they drive by, it's very loud, the ground & my entire house shakes and they barely fit down the road due to other parked cars, also clipping tree branches. Not uncommon to have them yelling at pedestrians to get out of their way, either. Overheard from across the block a pretty vulgar exchange from a particular truck today.

Noise & the possibility of pedestrians in a narrow street neighborhood aside, it just doesn't seem like Despelder or Columbus are the types of roads that are truck routes given how much my house shakes.

Is there or should there be a dedicated truck route for the tankers to get to the treatment plant without cutting through the neighborhoods?

Storm drain plugged on NE corner of Despelder & Columbus, flooding into intersection.

This was previously reported during that last heavy rain in https://seeclickfix.com/issues/7733465 and was looked at by a city worker, but not fixed. It floods high enough that it crests the crown of the road and drains to the other side of the street. Which it is doing now.

The blue spinning thing in the playground squeaks very very loudly. It's quite a distraction from the beach.

Many weeks ago, work on a manhole cover was started on Columbus. There is now a large pothole filled with dirt in the road and the large manhole cover assembly now sits in a yard. There are orange pylons placed both on the hole in the road and in the yard. I assume the grass under the manhole is now dead. Are there plans to finish these repairs? Yard damage aside, it turns Columbus into a 1 lane road and creates extra traffic congestion near an already hectic area with church construction on the same block.

Earlier this year the curbs around the intersection of Despelder and Columbus were repainted yellow to help with illegal parking around the intersection during church services. Now that it has snowed, the curbs are not visible and cars again park illegally, blocking visibility of the Yield intersection during all services at St. Pats church.

Asking for "No Parking Here To Corner" signs to be put up all around the intersection so that the no parking zones are visible when the curb is not. This is to maintain a safe intersection during the especially treacherous winter months. Especially with the increased pedestrian and street parking due to the St. Pats construction project.

Note that in the photo, both cars are parked in a yellow zone, blocking the visibility for cars at the Yield sign from seeing cars going through the intersection without a Yield sign.

The yellow curbs around St Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Church near the intersections of Columbus/N Despelder & Fulton/N Despelder need repainting. It is very hard to tell the curbs are yellow and results in dozens of illegally parked cars every Saturday evening & Sunday morning.
