    The larger sign with the arrow graphic that indicates no rt. turn on red is out. The two simple arrow lights work, but if someone is watching for the larger arrow sign to show red, this can be problematic. (I know...)

  • Church Street Marketplace Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric

    Between Bank and Cherry Streets on Church, there are few to no park benches. This part of the street gets the most sun, so I like to sit there in the morning. There are benches on the upper and lower parts of the marketplace, but those portions of the street are in shadow at that time of the day.

    On asking about this last year, I was told the dearth of benches in the middle section of the marketplace is because there was fighting along this part of Church St. a couple of years back. Also I was told that the benches are portable, and easily located, which is not the case for older adults, and the disabled. Please correct this.. it appears the benches are placed as they are is really to get people to pay at Starbucks, etc.
