This morning (6/26/15) at 7:10 a.m. the CoR Dump Truck stopped at the Big Belly trash cans here on Hillsborough Street. As I waited for the crosswalk, the man unlocked the litter side and through it in the back of the dump truck. Then he unlocked the recycling side and through it in the back of the dump truck. I was flabbergasted so I asked him when he came back to close the Big Belly container why is the recycling and litter sides both dumped into the dumptruck. "It's all the same to me." was his reply.

Why doesn't the City collect these trash and recycling containers and put them in the same trash truck? What's the point of these Big Belly containers if this what happens? Just a feel good effort among citizens?

This morning (4/5) I was waiting to cross Western on a walk and a car made an effort to turn left onto Western Blvd from Boylan Ave by going into the turn lane for eastbound Western Blvd. A truck almost smashed into this car making this dangerous and illegal maneuver. This is not the first time I have seen this. Maybe there needs to be signage that says no left turn or Eastbound Western Blvd access here? Thank you.

7:45am on Friday July 26 and westbound Hillsborough St was blocked by 5 trucks, one of which had a crane on it to unload drywall and materials. The balancing legs of the crane when deployed were extending into the traffic lane and the TTA and Cat buses were barely able to pass this area. Traffic is backing up and this is just an ongoing situation where this construction unloading takes place at the worst time of day, right at 8:00am where over 5000 employees work at NC State and commuters are being affected by some people who think it is best to do all these deliveries at rush hour. The site supervisor is blatantly lying to the City if he said this would not happen again. It did this morning and it was a mess.
