ever since the north east lake blvd was rerouted for airport expansion there has been talk of repairs and repaving. drive from the tallapoosa st turn by chevron and kangaroo gas stations, passing the air cargo, the airport hangers, coca cola, ups, and averitt express, to half a mile past the air national guard and experience the road yourself. this road would compete with the worst roadway in the birmingham area. no exaggeration.
