    Pedestrian Crosswalk sign is obscured by tree and is only visible once you are very close. This post is related to my earlier post regarding crosswalk not painted on new asphalt at this crosswalk. Please address as many children walk to and from Lawton here starting Tuesday.

    Delaware Dr was repaved between Scio Church and S. Seventh. The white crosswalk marking between Mershon and S Seventh that leads to Lawton Elementary has not been painted yet. Beginning Tuesday, many children will use this path to cross to/from Lawton and no lines are present to alert drivers from a distance. In addition, when driving east on Delaware past Mershon, the Pedestrian Crosswalk sign on the easement next to pathway is completely obscured by a tree until you are very close to the crosswalk. For the safety of all pedestrians, please promptly paint a crosswalk on the new asphalt and improve visibility of the crosswalk sign. Thank you.

    A streetlight on Delaware Dr. between Mershon and Seventh (close to Seventh; Lawton side of street) is not working and the street is quite dark when walking in this area early morning/at night.
