Been complaining about this for over 25 years! (the older issue posts no longer show up on this site. most recent is July #12888582) The street sewers back up into our basements. Emphasis on "our." This is not just my basement. It is the neighbor's lines flooding as well. Was told on this site over 3 years ago that the main sewer lines on W. Hamilton between Pavonia and 9th were to be replaced within a year. It cost me over $700 every time i have to have the line cleared, and when the plumber does, he reports that the snake is in the middle of the street. Not my property! Neighbors have the same problem.
