I called the Salem Police on 8/24 and left a message for one of the officers in the Traffic Division reporting an abandoned car. At the time it had been sitting outside of 182 & 184 Lafayette Street for at least 2 weeks. It has now been well over a month and the car has NOT MOVED. It is covered in leaves, debris and tree pollen. One of the tires is flat. It is taking up valuable street parking space in a heavily populated area with almost no offstreet parking. Can someone please have this car towed? It is a royal blue Ford Taurus wagon with MA license plate 525 TP7. The Salem PD clearly doesn't care but the people who live in the neighborhood do and we shouldn't be ignored. Thanks.
