    Hastings Heights Park Mystic St, Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
    Construction repair of the retaining wall is needed on the corner of Allston and Laurel Sts, at Hastings Park. Very large blocks have been falling out of this wall for years. Last year there was publicity about repairing this wall, but it hasn't happened. The entire wall needs tuck-pointing and replacement of the fallen blocks. Someone could be injured by a falling block.

    There is no category for missed leaf sweeping, so I used "Drainage," because the leaves will block sewers. The Brooks St/Playstead area did not have the last leaf-sweeping done due to snow. Piles of leaves are pushed along by snowplows, making the clearing of driveway snowbanks very difficult for shovelers (HEAVY!). With a melt coming in the next few days, can these leaves be swept up before the next storm? ALSO--this has happened before in section of the city--maybe the "last-to-be-swept" area should be rotated every year.
  • Post Office-West Medford 485 High St, Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
    Between Sunday, Oct. 6, PM and Tuesday, Oct 8, AM a large quantity of builder's sand has been dumped in the garden in front of the West Medford P.O., just inside the fence, near the front door. This is the second time in just a few weeks. The Medford Garden Club tends this garden, and on Sunday we cleaned up the first dumping (not reported), which turned out to be about 80lbs of sand, This morning another pile of sand has appeared in the same place.
