    Moose Alley is the alley between 53rd Street and 52nd Street--it is very near to the Temescal Library. This alley is heavily used by folks in North Oakland and residents of Keller Plaza. The sidewalk is broken in several places, with loose chunks of concrete. A lot of elders and children use this pathway: could it be paved over somehow? We'd love to see the sidewalk repaired without losing the nearby mature trees which are critical for shade, cooling and ecosystem habitat.

On Saturday May 28 I found a used needle. Please help me keep this alley clean and report any hazardous materials like needles to 311. City of Oakland: the needle is still there, can someone from Hazmat come on the weekend?

    There is an unnamed pedestrian alley between 53rd Street and 52nd Street in Temescal. The alley is sort of behind the Temescal Library. It is constantly filled with trash, illegal dumping and graffiti on the walls. I would like it to be cleaned up. Also what is the process for having the alley named so that it shows up on city maps?
