Another very WINDY day watching this antenna pitch & sway!
ANOTHER month where NO WORK is being done on this house that has been vacant since 2019.

Where are you Canton City Building Department? I believe in your ability to help improve & strengthen neighborhoods...this empty house needs to be dealt with!

Very tall, VERY rusted old TV antenna tower attached to the house next door that has been vacant since 2019. Concerned that it could pull away from its rusted braces and fall on our house. Sways significantly any time it's windy and especially during storms.

Would REALLY like to see it removed before something happens.

Over the years, three out of 4 corner sidewalks at this intersection have been replaced with ADA compliant curb ramp sidewalks. Would it be possible to complete compliance in this intersection by putting in an ADA curb ramp on the fourth (southeast) corner? Thank you.

Previous owner did NO maintenance for many, MANY years (used as a hoarder house). New owner has not done any work on the place since he inherited. Crazy. Government officials talk about supporting neighborhoods, this is a neighborhood that cares and is trying to improve yet is faced with properties like this bringing down the value of our homes, making our area less than desirable for owner-occupied home buyers. PLEASE put some teeth behind existing ordinances!

Two of the swings on the new playground set are almost a full 3 feet off the ground. Impossible for children to get on without help and actually difficult even for adults. Please add more chain so the distance from the swing seats and the ground is more reasonable and user-friendly. Thank you

DEPLORABLE CONDITION
Foreclosed, purchased by mortgage holder/lender (located in TX) in October 2021.
ISSUES:
1. Peeling paint and stucco damage
2. Missing downspouts, gutters filled with weeds (ongoing since before foreclosure - previous owners NEVER cleaned gutters or repaired downspouts)
3. 2-3 HUGE hole in roof above front entry/carport covered with bricks and boards (by previous owners. Neighbors have observed animals going in & out of these holes
4. Soffit damage
5. Garage - peeling paint, stucco falling off in chunks, overgrown weeds, cracks in foundation
6. Deck - animals going in & out of broken lattice

ABSOLUTELY NO WORK AT REPAIRING THESE EXTERIOR ISSUES PRIOR TO OR AFTER FORECLOSURE. NO INTERIOR WORK IS BEING DONE EITHER.

Owner does have crew come to mow & mulch; but that is all being done at this property which has been vacant since owner left in May 2019.

TERRIBLE DEEP POTHOLE on Cleveland Ave. NW running almost the entire length of the driveway at A-Mart Express. Down to the brick in some places! Patched earlier this winter BUT now the patch has completely deteriorated and debris from the patch is being thrown everywhere (including covering parts of the entrance to the station).

Not reporting this house, just the street sign on the northwest corner of 16th and Vassar NW beside this house. Sign DOESN'T NEED REPLACED; just repaired. The 16th/Vassar sign on top of the stop sign is leaning precariously, looks like it may fall off...just needs straightened/tightened. Thank you.

I saw a car stop in the intersection of Harvard & 16th NW and drop an old tire into the devil strip right beside the stop sign. It has been there for over a week.

House has been vacant for decades. A woman is now occupying the house; observed there for several weeks. Possibly being rented by
owner Louis Shurman or a vagrant. Either way, this house is NOT safe or vetted for occupancy.

Some kind of large tanks in the driveway (oxygen?). Dangerous?
