    Old Gurley Rd requires an overhaul. The city has been putting cold patch on all the pot holes for years. With the heavy traffic from the new homes built in the last 20 years, this old road is simply not capable of standing up to the wear and tear. Please address this situation.

    251 Old Gurley Road Northeast Huntsville, Alabama - Huntsville
    Old Gurley Rd between Shields Rd and Morres Mill Rd needs to be completely stripped and widened - a new base installed and a couple courses of asphalt. Shoulders are needed perhaps even sidewalks as there are times people are walking or riding bicycles causing hazards for themselves and motorists. This is the 21st century and this old road is no longer capable of handling the traffic required by the development in the area. Bottom line: Old Gurley is a disgrace and a safety hazard - the situation should be addressed by the City and County well beyond the occasional cold patches...
