Since the light pattern of this intersection (jenkins/stadium and rt 1) has changed, it is allowing fewer cars through the green turn arrows. This is especially problematic during busy times, such as 9am, noon, 5pm. People traveling northbound on route 1 who are turning left onto Jenkins or u-turning to access Wake Forest Presbyterian are having to sit through at least 2 and sometimes 4 light cycles. Before this change, around 10 cars could make it through the left green turn arrow. Now only 4 cars can make it through. This is causing the left-hand straight lane (northbound) to become backed up because the left turn lane is backed up into it.
