I saw a garbage truck clip these power lines as it drove South on Shafter on Wednesday morning. The lines stretched then snapped pretty violently back. If not fixed these lines will be broken by another passing truck. I think they're power lines which would be very unsafe.

This is a follow up to the post from 20 days ago. Slow Street signage is still needed at the intersection of Webster and 38th Streets. Cars continue to regularly drive much too quickly (30mph+) on Webster between 38th and 40th and most cars are driving all the way through. During a five minute period a few days ago 8 cars drove through the block making it nearly impossible for pedestrians and children on scooters to use the street as intended. In addition, drivers in cars often look askance at pedestrians using the street as if the pedestrian is in the wrong. They don't recognize this section as a Slow Street.

Pedestrian crossing traffic sign is missing at the corner of 42nd Street and Webster Street to signal the presence of a "Slow Street" on 42nd Street. I the few minutes I was here I saw three cars make the turn on to the street and then go all the way through to Telegraph.

The bike and turn lane striping on Bay Place in front of Whole Foods is so faded as to be almost invisible causing cars to regularly drive in the bike lane and making this already very busy intersection more dangerous for bicyclists.

Most of the traffic signals on the corner of MacArthur and Webster don't have pedestrian traffic signals showing how much time you have to cross the street. This is a heavily used bicycle route and pedestrians cross frequently to get to Mosswoood Park but both groups are in danger of running the light due to the lack of those pedestrian signals and the yellow light being of short duration.

On a beautiful MLK day there were no garbage containers near the basketball courts or at the pirate ship playground so there was more trash than usual on the ground.

There is a large pile of human feces on the cement retaining wall next to the "pirate ship" play structure in Mosswood Park. I reported this over a week ago and a comment on a graffiti report but it's still there so I'm posting again as it's own report. This is a health hazard.

Five of the nine connectors supporting the stairs leading up to the slides of the boat play structure have broken and look like they need welding. The stairs are sagging when kids step on them.
