Comcast and debris

The location is on the west side of Dutchess Lane off S. Cranberry. Traffic has to go around so as not to get their vehicles scratched. It needs to be chopped down and not just trimmed because this happens every year. The photo is aimed at S. Cranberry, looking east.

I have a simple question this morning. Can trees or anything be planted on a right away. I've heard both Yes and No. I need clarification on this. Thanks

I understand that some of the live oak trees are protected from cut down. If I could be lead in the right direction to who to talk to would be appreciated.

I have 2 questions this morning. One is what is being built/cleared between Cocoplum shops and the medical center at Sumpter.

The other question is: is there a link or two where someone can contact the health dept. This question is in reference to when we see a fast food/restaurant handling food with bare hands and no hair covering in the prep area. If I can get the links for both Sarasota and Charlotte counties, it would be appreciated.

Now that the land is cleared for Steakhouse across from the Racetrac and the shell station at the intersection of 41, south Cranberry and Cornelius. We need a green arrow light to make left turns coming out of both Cranberry and Cornelius. Also with the entrance of the shell station being across from the up coming restaurant is another problem.

My wife is nervous about traveling in that area when the restaurant is complete because she uses Cornelius to go to work.

Any info would be appreciated and also any idea of when the steakhouse is suppose to be complete.

I'm wondering if North Port has any volunteers to help senior citizens/veterans with their taxes this year. Any links or phone numbers would be appreciated. I'm sure that there are others out there asking the same questions.

We were wondering if it is still in the works for a Road House Steakhouse. The last we heard it was going near Racetrac on Rte. 41.

Recycling schedule. Any word when the new schedule will be out for 2019. I spent 15 minutes on the website looking for it and can't find it. Only found 2017 and 18. Tks

I only caught a piece on the news about new city ordinances. Is there an available link to the new city ordinances that was just passed. tks

I keep reporting this issue but nothing has been done since May on my lot on the corner of Cranberry and Duchess which is the north east. Since the pipe was replaced the water still backs up because the pipe needs to be cleaned out because the workers left the area with dirt and gravel for too long. I just checked it and mowed a little but it's so hard to mow because of the ruts that were made.

It needs to be dug about a foot and gravel put in and then sod on top for it to drain like I did in my front yard and it works fantastic.

All I get is that a work order has been put in but it shouldn't take this long to fix an issue. A backhoe can fix it within minutes and then the pipe scrapped out.

When I break something I fix it, when North Port breaks something...it sits and sits. Please I want this fix

I would like to know when the culvert on my corner lot Cranberry Blvd and Duchess is going to be cleaned. Everything else is done except that and both sides need cleaning and since public works fixed the road my lot floods and it never did before.

Not sure who to notify but yesterday we received a call during the storm and the caller used (941-429-4845) with a Sarasota County caller Id. I answered thinking it was a warning on the storm but it was a credit card scam and I looked the number up and it is indeed a good number for Sarasota County. The phone number was what I call stolen. Not sure what can be done about it but also believe the department that owns the number should be aware of it.

On the corner of S. Cranberry and Dutchess the drainage pipe was replaced. No one has come back to complete the job and the road needs to be resurfaced because the rain is washing away the soil and causing a mess on my corner lot which would be the NW corner.

This is in regards to the message to the last concern and it is at the intersection of dutchess and S. Cranberry. I did answer back that it is over the road and that is the city right of way. Everyone is waiting for the trimmers to cut it.

Sunday the tree trimmers were in the area which was nice but at one pole and an important one they only trimmed the top and the tree is over hanging the road and if two cars go by, the top of the cars get dragged by the branches. There is a Transformer at the top of the pole and a box which we believe is Comcast but the trimmers should have done the whole tree. This is on the corner of Dutchess and S. Cranberry on the west side. None of us can't understand why the whole tree wasn't cut up because if you don't want it to climb you cut from the bottom. Rainy season is upon us and it's growing fast. tks
