    The Victoria Hill community is organizing a block party next Sunday 9th June in the area around the duck pond.

    Would it be possible to juggle schedules if necessary to get the grass mown and the bushes/shrubbery trimmed etc before then?

    Anything work that can be done would be very gratefully received.

    People are regularly feeding the ducks in the Victoria Hill pond. This is not good for the ducks - and the crumbs they leave behind create a mess and will attract rats & other vermin.

    I know the informational signs for the pond do mention not feeding the ducks but I suspect most people don't read those (but I did... thank you - very interesting) and the signs are not at the main point of concern which is the semi-circular patio on the SE side of the pond.

    I'm also concerned that maybe people are putting food down for other animals - crows, squirrels etc. So I think general "don't feed the wildlife" signs might be a better option than just "don't feed the ducks".
