I have set up a pickup with Republic over a week ago to come remove a 60" loveseat. They confirmed (twice) with me that they were coming on Friday, the 20th, and then when they didn't show up, I called them again today, and they told me that they would come today (Monday). The loveseat is still in front of my home, and no one from Republic has shown up. I've exhausted all of my options with them, as the only contact listed is their phone number, and no email contact. How can I get this picked up ? I'm at my wits end with them--as this is the 2nd time in 2 years that they keep telling me they are going to remove the item and confirm the pickup, then never show up! Keep in mind I have confirmed that this is the size that they will pick up.

After numerous requests for speed traps on Bouve Ave, I'm wondering if the only time there will be some proactive police presence before there is a fatality on this street. The same vehicles speed on this avenue everyday, and reported by many of us who live here, yet it is being ignored....what's it going to take to take this complaint seriously? This is a thickly settled street, and the same punks do about 80mph everyday down this avenue-then take turns onto Verne St without slowing down and almost going through our fence..something needs to be done! Tired of it!
