A Blue pickup, license 5D55335, has been on the corner of Avenal and 66th for a week or more. The issue is the owner idles the extremely loud motor for hours at a time to charge it? I sent a complaint to my neighbors, Loren Taylor, Officer Judith Christopher, Oakland Non Emergency. The noise and air pollution is an acute hazard to the vulnerable residents during this pandemic.

For at least 3 days, because I have called non-emergency that many times, a blue truck, license plate 5D55335, has been squatting and periodically idling. It is a noise and air pollution issue, particularly problematic during a pandemic that targets our respiratory systems.

Trash, bags, boxes dumped on North West corner of 66th and Avenal.

Large black trash truck left abandoned for over a week at the corner of 66th and Avenal. We do not need trash in the middle of a pandemic and the neighbors it is next to are in their 90s.

An OLD white Mercedes was abandoned in front of my house on Avenal 72 hours ago. It has a flat tire. The front bumper is tied on. The paper license plate number is 48333868A.

This is becoming an issue with the Nextdoor Havenscourt group. The growing homeless camp on Bancroft between Seminary and Havenscourt. I have noticed one car there for closer to 72 weeks rather than 72 hours. The camp is growing. It is a health and safety issue. The neighbors are complaining of smells due to lack of sanitation.

A couple of garbage bags and some other stuff.

On Saturday night, a car was stripped, dumped in front of my driveway, and the Speed Bump sign on Avenal Ave. was knocked down. The Speed Bump SIGN, not Speed Bump, not Stop Sign, that's why I pressed "other", needs to be fixed before it gets damaged or someone's car gets damaged and they blame to city. I called OPD and they took forever. By the time the owner moved his car and the police called, I told myself I would contact the DOT and forgot to remind the police of the sign. A similar incident happened to my neighbor. I asked him who he contacted. He has not gotten back to me, but I know he talked about going to the media.

2 plastic bags of garbage at the North East corner of Havenscourt and Avenal. I put the bags under the trees. The neighbor put them back in the street. I think the neighbor is expecting the street sweeper to sweep away bags. I do not have room in my bin. I don't want the garbage run over and scattered. The neighbor does not speak English, so I need help disposing of these bags.

Someone dumped a very heavy cement/cedar block at the curb in front of my house on Avenal this AM. His car did not have a license plate. The block is too heavy for me to move and I need it picked up.

On the corner of 66th and Avenal, North West, there is an abandoned truck/SUV. It is brown. The motor was stripped out of it recently. The neighbor and I saw a guy working on it in the rain. We thought he was making a repair. He said it would be gone the next day. It appears he took the motor out and it has been there for a week or so.

There are 2 stuffed animals and a bag of trash. I cannot fit this in my bin. It runs to the drain, clogs it up, and floods my yard, so this is urgent. The trash is under my neighbor's tree at the corner of Avenal and Havenscourt. Thanks for all you do.

The gutter at Havenscourt and Avenal floods. We have a big storm coming tomorrow. The problem is street sweepers never sweep on Avenal in front of my house and leaves in the street clog up the drain. I rake leaves under the trees on my planter strip and put them in the compost. I've paid for tickets and pay taxes, so the street needs to be swept to help everyone and the drain needs clearing now. The street flooded last night. I called Oakland non emergency and emergency. It flooded the neighbor's car. 11-29-18. I am having to spend my weekend sweeping the street. I teach and have to do paperwork on the weekends. I am lucky to rake the planter strip under the trees once a month. A shorted out car costs thousands. I will file a claim with the city if this situation is not resolved. I do not want someone with a gas powered leaf blower over hear. Those are illegal in Berkeley. They let out the equivalent of 7 vehicles of fumes. The city was already supposed to put in traffic circles a year ago to keep down the traffic and fumes. I do not want a stranger plugging in an electric leave blower, letting out my cat that will get hit by a person acting like my street is a runway. I cannot afford to pay such person anyway. Leave blowers are expensive and less effective than a rake when it's wet. The city needs to do its part. 12-2-18 The leaves from the other side of the street blow to our side. The city needs to come by once a week, not once a month, and at least come by as often as it says on the sign post. If I park across the street my car gets shot at or run into. I am not having my family get electrocuted just trying to go about our daily business. You need to put nets or grills over the drains to trap the leaves. 12-4-18. The issue was reported as closed/fixed and do not reply. It also said clogged not flooded. It certainly was flooded. We were in 3 feet of water and at risk of electrocution.
