  • Academy And San Mateo - Albuquerque
At the San Mateo and Academy intersection, the San Mateo sign to the east has broken 1 of its 2 mounts and is dangling from the signal. It looks about ready to fall into traffic.
  • 6501-6527 Academy Rd Ne Albuquerque, New Mexico - Albuquerque
Large amount of rocks and debris in westbound bikelane on Academy. Only a few inches of clear space without having to negotiate >45 mph traffic.

Large set of potholes in the southbound lane of Washington just south of Central (on the edge of the intersection).
  • 2301-2399 Palomas Drive Northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico - Albuquerque
Stop sign on SE corner of Palomas Dr and Cutler Ave NE is covered in grey spray paint.
  • 6200 Osuna Road Northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico - Albuquerque
I didn't see a category for traffic lights. The Light on the NE corner of this intersection (facing the Northbound San Pedro traffic) has a burned out green light.
  • 3543 Gibson Blvd Se Albuquerque, New Mexico - Albuquerque
I would like to request that the city install curbside crosswalk buttons (I.e. buttons for cyclists to activate the crosswalk light without having to leave the road) on Carlisle at Gibson for both north and south bound traffic. This would greatly increase the safety and convenience of those of us who bike to the west side of base. Currently, the street sensors rarely activate (even with the bike parked directly upon them) and the signals do not give a green to straight through traffic by default. Thank you for your consideration!
  • 5997-6051 Mckinney Dr Ne Albuquerque, New Mexico - Academy Acres North
The hedges along McKinney at this condo complex have grown such that they prevent the use of half or more of the sidewalk. It is not that the complex does not trim them, it is that they trim the at an angle such that they encroach further each year. When carrying items (such as groceries) or walking next to your young children, if frequently becomes necessary to walk in the street.
  • Academy @ Mckinney albuquerque, nm - Academy Acres North
The Academy @ McKinney Bus Stop (#2673) is listed on Google Maps and planyourride.cabq.gov as serving both routes 93 and 34. This morning 93 did stop there, but 34 did not. Looking at the city of Albuquerque GIS Website, this stop is only listed as serving route 93. As other users may be using one of those websites (I originally used Google Maps and later double checked the city website), it would help travelers to correct this discrepancy. I was forced to find an alternate means of commuting today due to this mistaken guidance. If it is supposed to serve #34, then the driver did not even attempt to make the stop (was in the far left lane when passing by).

Golf Course Albuquerque, NM 87109, USA - Albuquerque
Bike path is covered in sand. The sand was dangerous enough at low speeds that my wife crashed her bike when trying to cross the area near the bridge. It has been over a week since the rains washed debris onto the trail, but the city has not yet cleaned it up. This area is a significant hazard to any bicycle traffic.
