    Has a truck route recently changed in Jersey CIty? I have noticed an uptick in the amount of semi-tracker trailers, dump trucks, cement trucks on Newark Avenue from Palisade to Jersey Avenues When they are stuck in traffic they blow their horns (which are very loud) and they also speed down Newark Avenue. Newark Avenue between 5th and Jersey Avenue road is in terrible condition and these large trucks are causing the buildings to shake. Is there anything that can be done to redirect trucks of a certain size off of Newark Avenue? It's like living on a major highway.

    Garbage left out on curb in front of 330 Second Street. This is recyclables. Should not have been put out until Thursday, 5/19. Last night, Monday, 5/16 was garbage night for this street for regular house garbage. It's very windy today and this garbage will be blowing all over the place. Can you please have this garbage pick-up and owner notified of the issue. Thank you.

    CITY BENCH WAS REMOVED AND 4 BOLTS ARE STICKING UP FROM THE SIDEWALK. A ELDERLY WOMEN FELL OVER THE BOLTS AND WAS BADLY INJURED AND AN AMBULANCE HAD TO BE CALLED. PLEASE REMOVE BOLTS BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE IS INJURED.

    Directly behind 254 Newark Avenue and 346 Second Street in the alleyway that runs behind these properties from Monmouth to Coles Street. Someone threw several large black garbage bags and two pieces of wood. The bags are full of insulation and sheet rock. I am the owner of 254 Newark Avenue and my neighbor is the owner of 346 Second Street. We would like this garbage removed. Thank you.

    Directly behind 346 Second Street and 254 Newark Avenue in the alleyway between Monmouth and Coles Street an unknown person dumped this garbage. I am the owner of 254 Newark Avenue and my neighbor is 346 Second Street. We DID NOT do this. Can DPW come out and take it away. I do not know what is in the bags but the neighborhood has been experiencing a rodent and other wildlife animal issues recently due to the road work being done on Newark Avenue. Thank you.

    This trash was put out in front of 262 Newark Avenue. Someone moved it to in front of 266 Newark Avenue. It is regular household trash pick-up tonight on Newark Avenue but Regional won't take it because it is cardboard boxes. Boxes can be put out on Thursday nights. Can DPW please have this picked up so the neighborhood doesn't have to look at this trash until Thursday. To the person who did this please follow the rules for garbage pick up. We don't do this in our neighborhood. Thanks!

    On Oct. 1, 2020 the new time for putting out trash changed to 5 PM since the new schedule 253 Newark Avenue has put their trash out at 3PM two hours early. Collection does not occur until around 9-9:30. Can some kind of notice be send to the property owner advising them not to put the trash out until 5PM

    Three graffiti tags on storefront window, First, offense was on December 17th and second offense was on January 1st. The blue and green ones I think can be washed off but the frosted one is acid and seeps into the glass and cannot be removed. Please have the appropriate City Agency contact me. Thanks!

    On Friday, September 21, 2018 No Parking Signs were put on Parking Meters along Newark Avenue from Second to Monmouth Streets and a large standing No Parking Sign was placed in front of 254 Newark (in the street) for road work. The road work was completed but the No Parking Signs on the meters and in the street were left behind by the workers. Can you please have them taking away. This is a business area with limited parking to begin with and with these signs still in place it is a great inconvenience for the businesses and residents in the area especially on a weekend. Thanks!
