There is a tree between our property and Luther reservoir that has been severely undercut for several years whenever the 7 mile river is fast flowing into the reservoir just beyond the recently repaired bridge on Old Post Road. The reservoir is still up when I took these pictures this morning but I have concerns that any strong winds might bring it down onto the road. The property the tree is on technically is administered by the Attleboro Water Department so it might fall upon them. We are requesting that someone evaluate the tree for safety purposes.

    Thanks!

Water continues to pool in front of 742 Old Post Road. Previous work did not fix issue and with recent cold snap road surface and shoulder have icing. Cars coming from the direction of Attleboro into No. Attleboro come around the bend in the road passing over the bridge at Luther Reservoir do not have much warning that they are about to enter a flooded & icy stretch of pavement.

Pothole forming (or getting larger) on reservoir side of bridge crossing Luther reservoir on Old Post Road.

This is not a new event but has been a reoccurring issue after moderate to heavy rains for at least a decade. Old Post Road was recently repaved from the Attleboro line to Allen Avenue and the year before that from RT1 down to Draper. Are there any plans to repave from Draper down to Allen Avenue? Would appreciate someone evaluate why water pools on both sides of the road in front of my house as it is a driving and icy problem, especially for drivers coming from the Attleboro side, going around the bend and crossing the bridge (where water drains into Luther Reservoir) and quickly facing a flooded street which forces them to drive down the middle to avoid water.
