The Two Euds

Thank you for picking up the load of furniture last Thursday (Nov9th); this couch appeared on Saturday. I called Joe at Code Enforcement to see if there was a scheduled pick up before I reported this he said I had to file a See Click Fix.

It’s been weeks now, we called code Enforcement, he said the issue was closed, but the stuff is still there.

Mr. Davis, I’m very confused about this new procedure of See, Click and Fix, especially after talking to Joe from Code Enforcement, who said he was going to call you about this issue. Why wouldn’t you call Code Enforcement, especially after I gave my name and a picture of this reoccurring problem on See Click and Fix?

Every time they evict someone at this location the remnants are dumped here for weeks before it’s picked up.

The apartment complex continues to have piles of household furniture and junk for weeks. It’s either folks adding to it or the complex keeps kicking people out. When you contact them please tell them to use their other dumpster on the north end of complex.

IAN Hurricane 09/22 took our ‘Plaza Mayor’ street sign which directs traffic to church, Village On The Isle, Rialto apts, Chuck Rieter Ball field, Island Park Condos and Airport Mobile home park, etc. The response of “parts are on back order” we’ve already heard. Is there not a sign company or tool and die maker who could fabricate a sign/holder?!?!? Let’s be creative and find an alternative solution to this problem please.

Don’t know if couch and chair that’s been there two days is scheduled for pick up. Please tell owner to put this type of garbage at the other end of the apartment complex where there are no visible condos and ballfield visitors to see it.

A mattress has been here several weeks.

Both sides of this sidewalk have a uneven edge.

Besides reporting yet another eviction pile of someones belongings, we are saddened to think someone needed help and was evicted instead. Isn’t there a moratorium on evictions? Last week eviction had bags and bags of clothes, furniture etc. These are working folks who live here because their cars are gone during the day.

The apartment complex possibly evicted someone and threw all their belongings on the side of the road near their dumpster. Please request they put it in the dumpster.

The Rialto Apartments have a dumpster site and whenever someone moves out they throw out mattresses, furniture, etc. and people may be adding to it.

The is a sinkhole in the pavement that wasn’t there before. I don’t believe it’s a pothole.

Please add three "No Parking" signs on side of maintenance building to prevent cars from parking half in the street on game day. There are usually three cars parked there; last weekend an emergency vehicle plus firetruck came to a neighbor's aid across the street. As always, thank you for this option to become part of the solution by reporting a problem.

Both bathrooms at Venice Beach were/are NOT working this morning; if this can not be rectified in a timely manner, we suggest bringing Porto potties since there are numerous visitors at the beach. There was also a strong smell of sewage after the heavy rain on Thursday which I should have reported but hope all storm water outlets would be checked.

The street light is out.

The latch is missing on the stall next to the sink in the ladies bathroom. The floor is always wet since the handicap stall doesn't have a way to dry your hands.
