Can people drive down Holden Street across route 60 to turn left? If not, please add some lane paint and a Do Not Enter sign.

Please relocate this structure if it is possible. I don't know if there are any utilities hooked up to it that would make that difficult to do, but that structure makes it too difficult for drivers to look out for cyclists, and vice versa.

This is a confusing intersection. Drivers on Pierce Street are facing potential head-on collisions as they turn the final bend to reach Forest Street. Drivers on Forest Street are turning on the wrong side of the island. Personally, I have almost been hit twice, other family, once, and I have seen it happen twice to other drivers while walking. Please add a "Do Not Enter" sign so that people do not turn into the wrong lane on Pierce St. from Forest St., or some other signage that will make the intersection more clear. Painting lanes would also be nice, but I know the road is going through construction so if it's a hassle to do it twice maybe keep that in mind when the road is done over.

Arrow sign appears to be hanging in the wrong orientation.

There's a number of store fronts on Main St. between the intersections at Exchange St. and Ferry St. that have flashing and electronic scrolling signs. I don't know if the city still has ordinances against that, but if it does, I agree with it because it seems to be distracting in a place where it's important for drivers to keep an eye on pedestrians. Maybe the city could send out a polite reminder to MetroPSC, the new 3 Amigos, and a few other places in the area.that are in the same boat.

If you turn onto Pierce from Forest, it's at the bend on Pierce right after you pass the islands.

I was almost hit again this week by someone taking a right turn onto Pierce Street at the end of the intersection, going into the one-way portion after the island.

I wrote a ticket about this months ago after the last time I was almost hit, about a week after seeing another accident at the exact same spot. I don't think the ticket was even acknowledged, and I can't find it in the search to see if there have been any updates. I know it's winter and there's construction and pot holes so I'm not expecting anything right away, but I just hope this ticket gets some kind of visibility before it disappears again, and at least other residents should be cautious when they make the final bend on Pierce going towards Forest Street, that there may be oncoming vehicles because drivers do not have the appropriate signage/signals/painted lanes to make road rules intersection safe. Also, crosswalks somewhere would help. I don't think there are any that cross Forest Street between Lebanon and Main.
