i reported this problem a while ago and you all marked it as closed. it is not closed. ECID did NOT remove the road sign. someone came and moved it further back into the bushes (!) and up against a palm tree at the northeast corner of Signature Place. the original issue was 15789806. please actually remove the sign this time! road work for saltaire has been completed and it is an eyesore for residents.

please remove this sign from the corner of 1st ave south and 1st street south. it is leaning up against the signature place towers building and it is an eyesore. it has been moved out of the way because it had previously been blocking the sidewalk. someone needs to be responsible for retrieving these signs from around town when their use is no longer required.

at the corner of 5th ave NE and bayshore drive NE, two large palm trees in the vinoy park corner are leaning over severely, one looks ready to fall down. they need to be staked up soon or we will lose them. with storm weather coming next week, this needs to be addressed promptly.
  • 4th Ave Ne & Beach Dr Ne St Petersburg, FL, 33701, USA - Downtown Neighborhood Association
i submitted this issue in November, it was closed by the P&R maintenance team but still has not been fixed. These trees need to be reset and re-installed or they will die. we have been waiting for the park maintenance team to pull up and replant these trees, pulled out by Ian. It has been a long time and they are too heavy for us to pull up but they need to be staked up or they might die and that would be an expensive loss. Please save these trees, reset them and repair the image of entering downtown.

large, very visible gas/oil leak in south marina south of demens landing park and the sailing center. hard to tell where it is coming from or if it is still leaking...? maybe coming from a boat in the marina? spreading fast and quite large. worried about wildlife/marine life.....

al lang field is part of the parks system that runs along downtown st pete. while the city has vastly improved other areas where the grass runs along side the curb and bike paths, on the street side of sidewalks, this area is a mess. there are some crepe myrtle like in other areas but they aren't trimmed or watered and don't have any clean beds around them as you find in other places downtown. add to that the grass that is part of al lang is mainly dirt and you have a real eyesore in an area everyone walks, especially on their way to the Dali museum and to the stadium.
please, please get the right parties to groom this area as you do the rest of the parks system that runs along the water. it continues to deteriorate every year. thank you. i have submitted before. the city says it is a duplicate of previous issues but never addresses it. none of the archived issues that have been opened have been properly addressed. what is the answer? thanks.

the air handling units on top of the building across from starbucks, next to the empty lot on 2nd st N and 2nd ave N are incredibly loud and have been running constantly all day. you have to shout when crossing the street nearby; and you can hear them loudly from blocks away....ground level and balconies.

the lights used to illuminate the mediterranean "turrents" on top of the parking garage between 2nd & 1st st on Central need to be adjusted so that their blindingly bright light is not aimed at people's homes but rather faces west. while work is ongoing for the new raymond james museum, i am hoping this can be addressed. submitted before but did not get any answer. light pours right into Signature Place homes. Thanks.
