New lights placed last week are far too powerful and invasive for this neighborhood corner of Livingston and Cold Spring Streets. The intersection already feels like a highway with the level of traffic crossing very fast, and these lights reinforce the interpretation of a highway. The lights are too bright for the neighboring houses, particularly on 2nd floor bedrooms. Please decrease the reach and intensity of these neighborhood lights.

30ft+ tree needs removal. An entire limb was lost in a storm over 18months ago, and the damage has left the tree vulnerable for falling. It was listed to be removed right before covid-shut down, but then the paper announcement was removed from the tree. Can you provide an update for when the tree will be removed? Thank you!

Hi, there are several, new markings on the sidewalk pavement outside 642 Orange Street. They seem to designate water and gas lines. Can you tell us what the proposed construction is?

The nearby tree was due to be removed before covid shut-down, and the sidewalk is badly torn up from the tree root growth. So perhaps tree removal and sidewalk repair?
    Thank you!

Can you tell me the phone and cable company who owns the lines in the East Rock neighborhood? The lines from 644-646 Orange Street cross the property of 642 Orange Street. The electrical line has already been changed, so all the poles on the other side of the street are ready. This porch is being set up for restoration, and the lines are dangerously close to the porch. We just don't know which companies to contact for the lines to be moved.

Please remove this tree. This tree had a broken limb after the winters storm, and now has a large gauge in its side which destabilizes the tree trunk significantly. The tree was inspected by Chris Ozyck, who deemed the tree unsafe. Thank you

Area of poor repair on sidewalk. Black tarmac was used to cover area of former utilities repair on sidewalk (Not done by private owner). The black tarmac is uneven, and makes snow coverage difficult to scrape off, which then turned to slippery ice. One person fell during last snowfall, but was unhurt. Please repair with new pale gray cement sidewalk, so that it is flat, even, and consistent with neighborhood.
