This pothole is west of 42nd Ave S and on the south side of 158th. It has been filled three times and has re-appeared. The last time, a line was painted to identify the side of the road, however, when the sidewalks were put in, this lane was engineered too narrow. When there is a car in each lane, people frequently drive in the gravel. This pothole and shoulder needs to be asphalted, not just gravel added over and over.

At the corner of 158th and 42nd Ave SW, there is an abandoned gray pickup full of garbage and debris. There are no license plates or tags. The pick up has been there for the past ten days.

Another large pothole has developed in the eastbound driving lane on S 158th just west of 42nd Ave. This area is a continuing problem. In addition to the pothole, why can’t this be paved fully? The work on 42nd and prior work by the power company destroyed this area of the street and has not repaired this lane and shoulder. The stretch from 40th PL to 42nd Ave along S 158th should have a fully paved eastbound lane and shoulder, or sidewalk, like the rest of the neighborhood. It’s the only block without a walking path or sidewalk in addition to the large potholes that continue to develop.

There are three potholes at the corner of S 158th and 40 PL S.

The street sign for 40th Ln. S/S. 159th Lane/S 158th Ln/private rd was removed by the flaggers/road construction crew when construction began on 42nd Ave. This stood near to telephone pole at the entrance to Hollycrest. However, the crews never replaced it and took the sign away with their other signs when they completed work. The street signs needs to be replaced at city versus owner expense as this was removed by work crew. Package delivery and garbage services are now being missed due to drivers not finding these streets.
