After several days without rain there is still water flowing down Hembree from the front yard of a home. May be a water leak or blocked storm drain?

We get red lights in all directions and a crosswalk activation for 30 seconds even when there is nobody looking to cross the road. Seems like the button is broken.

  • 12054–12056 Etris Rd Roswell 30075, United States - Roswell
Sensors in road are not picking up vehicular traffic. Cars waiting unnecessarily long to proceed in all directions.

Broken glass all over the intersection. Needs to be swept up to prevent accident.
  • 519–599 Houze Way Roswell 30076, United States - Roswell
Please check the timing of the light or the road sensors. When traveling EB on Houze Way very few cars in a long line of traffic are able to get through especially when a car is tring to turn left and go NB on Houze Rd.

The Etris Rd light is still not resolved. Derrick Crowder closed about 8 tickets recently indicating that his crew came out and fixed the issue. It is not. I just sat at the church parking lot and watched it for about 5 minutes. The issue is with SB Etris road sensors.

The turn indicator comes in when nobody is waiting to turn.

The turn indicator stays in only 10 seconds even if there are still cars turning.

The light only stays green for 50 seconds regardless if there are more cars attempting to flow through.

Traffic is backing up all the way to Etris Manor between 7:05 and 7:45 am.

Please fix this nuisance so residents can start their day with a smile rather than the frustration of dealing a faulty light.

The traffic signal at Etris and Hardscrabble is in disrepair and needs to be fixed immediately. I understand from other issues I've seen that the inductive sensors in the road have been damaged by the road construction in the area. However, it was also noted that they won't be complete with this construction project for another 4-5 months. The residents of this area cannot wait another 6 months for this broken signal to be fixed.

What are the temporary solutions that can be implemented at this location? I came home from the airport last night at 12:30am and sat for nearly 2 minutes at a red light with not another car in sight. It's very frustrating. Surely you can fix the sensors on Etris Rd. How about installing those camera sensors that sit on top of the signals? These would be less susceptible to damage from roadwork and not require someone to come out and saw lines in the road. Why does Roswell not use these sensors?

  • 12050 Etris Rd Roswell, GA 30075, USA - Roswell
Left turn signal activating even when no cars in the lane to turn left while traveling EB on Hardscrabble @ Etris Rd. This is causing unnecessary backups and time wasted by commuters.
  • 11484 Houze Road Roswell, Georgia - Roswell

Apparently the existing signage and pavement markings are not obvious enough to drivers heading SB on Houze Rd. Every morning there are several near-crash experiences, mainly caused by the folks heading SB on Houze.

There are 2 lanes entering the RA: the left lane is marked as a left turn or u-turn lane and the right lane is marked as a right turn or straigh through lane. Invariably, the folks in the left lane attempt to proceed straight on Houze Rd which is not how the RA was designed.

What can RDOT or GDOT do in the near term to improve this intersection?

The light at Hardscrabble and Etris is still not working properly. Green left turn arrows come on when no cars are waiting to turn. Cars on Etris are waiting longer than normal when there is no cross traffic on Hardscrabble. This light has been reported numerous times lately and each time it is reported resolved by the city yet it isn’t resolved. Who can help?

Tree limb blocking half of the road
  • 11998 Crabapple Road Roswell, Georgia - Roswell
The signal at Crabapple and Etris Rd needs to be updated to "Summer Mode". During the school year when a pedestrian presses the button to activate the crosswalk, all lanes of traffic are set to Red to allow students to cross safely from the school to the neighborhoods. Now that school is out for the summer, is there a way to revert this to normal crosswalk operation where only the one direction is stopped based on the direction the pedestrian is walking (ie normal like most crosswalks).
