Heads up that the light at Allston and Pleasant is broken

The flashing yellow light at the corner of Allston and Pleasant Street seems to be broken

Our compost bin was missed this morning

I’m not sure how we’re going to prevent this but the company “ Royal hospitalities” (linen company) continues to disregard the signs that you are not supposed to use Pleasant Street as a pass-through. As a result these huge trucks drive down Pleasant Street through intersections with the kids coming home from school. Again I’m not sure what the city can do but wanted you to know. There’s likely an accident waiting to happen

As the city does the important construction on Chestnut Street, can we put a street drain on magazine street at the corner of Chestnut (on the Mag side towards Pleasant St)? There’s an enormous amount of water that flows from all the houses to Magazine Street and there is no drain anywhere near this area, so there is a lot of water buildup. This might be part of the plan, but if not, we wanted to make sure the city was aware as it seems a perfect opportunity to fix the water flow on Magazine at Chestnut as the city digs up the street. Park sign seems to have gotten knocked down by a truck

When the city does the sidewalks at the corner of Putnam and Pleasant Street, could you please raise up the curbs and slope the sidewalk toward the street, so water runs into the drain? It currently flows right onto the sidewalk like a river. I wanted to send this note because I know sidewalk repair is coming up. Thanks so much!!

This area of Putnam has very few trees. Would the city be willing to plant two or three trees on either side of the street? Thanks so much.

There is a water cap that was removed that sticking way up out of the ground. It’s a pretty good hazard for bikers or even cars.

We could really use a police detail at the corner as there is big construction blocking the road and constant honking without someone directing traffic. Thank you

Now that the big tree has been cut down in front of our house, would the city be willing to plant one tree on either side of the existing tree (for two trees total)? This would really help cover up the ugly powerline — and there is space for two trees according to the people who were cutting down the old one. We just don’t want the new trees in front of the fence to the left of our side gate as we will be doing a curb cut. Thank you!

At Pleasant Street extension between where Florence begins and Memorial Drive, there’s a great opportunity to plant trees on either side of the street. Would make this section look so much more beautiful and help in a myriad of other ways. Thanks for considering!
