  • North Ave Children Alliance Center 901 North Ave, Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington Electric
When coming off of the belt line on to North Avenue, part of the road extends into the driveway of North Avenue Alliance Church. This small strip of road had developed a number of potholes; some have been filled with gravel as a temporary solution, but these should receive asphalt filling from the city. Photo example is of the sidewalk area facing the intersection at the belt line. Thanks!
  • 901 North Avenue Burlington Vermont - Burlington Electric

The city is just about finished with repaving North Avenue. During the project, city trucks and other vehicles/personnel used North Avenue Alliance Church's parking lot as both a staging area and a place to turn their paving trucks around. The heavy vehicles were turning their tires while stationary in the parking lot during the hot weather, which caused multiple abrasions to the pavement, in addition to leaving tire marks everywhere (see example in photo). Semi-related, but while on the topic: the city's plow trucks also use NAAC as a turning point, and it is evident that they also have damaged the parking lot by leaving at least two gouges at their turning points. These items will need to be repaired by the city as soon as possible.

Please have someone call Jordan Danaher (the Administrator of NAAC) at 802-864-0501 Ext. 1. to review this. Thank you.

  • 30 Marshall Drive Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
The edge of the road leading up to the driveway of 30 Marshall Drive (and possibly other driveways on Marshall Drive) has sunk, causing bumpers to scrape the road as they enter the driveway. The precipitous dip is in the road, rather than the driveway, hence the need for city maintenance.
