The city cut down the only tree giving shade and then put up sun shade last year. Been down all summer. The cost of the renovation must have been much more than the sun shade which was damaged or whatever. When will it be fixed ? We want it. I bet all parents here would contribute directly to get this done.

Neither gate closes at this Lincoln park playground and it has been this way for months !! My 17 mo toddler tries to run out into the park street if you look away for a moment. why are there even two gates ? The other Lincoln park playground has one and boys park has one. it's safer and all parents or young children prefer it. why two non functional gates facing streets ??? why not just one facing the open field by the swings. just a normal latch will do like at Boyd park.

112 Duncan is being renovated, and there is a huge amount of dangerous materials in the back, lowering quality of life for neighbors and increasing risk of injury. Residents request clean-up ASAP.

At least one looter has come by a taken metal, but broke more glass in the process.
