Boaters are use two and three public parking spaces that are limited for two hours and launching their boats for all day excursions. No parking is left for St Pete Tax Payers. Complained to the Marina (Frank) and he said that the St Pete Police will not enforce parking violations because of COVID-19 conditions. Contacted the St Pete Police Department and they advised "they will look into it". Many of the license plates are from Hillsborough County, which has closed all their boat ramps and parks. Pinellas/St Pete Tax Payers are stressed enough...we need our parks!!!

Demens Park 8:30 am 2/5/20 asked couple to please put dog on leash as I've been bitten twice in St Pete parks by dogs...not on a leash...and who the owners advise "would not hurt anyone". The male owner cursed at me and threatened bodily harm as I was calling animal control. Walked away and took another picture of a different dog (not on a leash) playing catch with their owner!! Four parks walked...six dogs off their leash...city employees zooming by on their "gators"!! Called St Pete Police and Rob advised that he could send an officer to talk to the gentleman about the threats, but I would have to call Animal Control or a neighborhood Resource Officer for actions regarding the dog. Wasn't the dog's fault...it was his human owners disregarding Pinellas County leash law!! Last time I was bitten, I drove all the way to Animal Control off of Ulmerton and they told me to file a police report!

The only restroom for kids at the North Shore Park playground and this toilet has been this way for five months!! The City spends $90 million dollars for a new pier and $58 million dollars for a new police department building, but won't use a little elbow grease to clean THE ONLY RESTROOM near a kids playground. Soak the stain with WD 40 for five minutes and then scrub with comet and the toilet will be clean. C'mon, man! This is absolutely disgusting!!!

Pistia (invasive water lettuce) is flowing from the storm drain at the Coffee Pot Blvd seawall. Might be coming from Crescent Lake. This drain is in exiting into Coffee Pot Bayou at 23rd Ave NE and Coffee Pot Blvd.

An unattached trailer and four yards of builder sand are blocking both the City Trails bike lane and the Northbound vehicle lane of Chancellor Blvd. The obstructions are very close to the intersection of Chancellor Blvd and Bayou Grande Blvd NE. Very difficult to pass with traffic and dangerous at night.

Local fitness business blocks the only handicap ramp and sidewalk from 12th Ave NE parking lot to the public restrooms, tennis court and seawall walking trail, six days a week in the mornings. Groups like USAFit use the sidewalk to lay out mats, weights and training equipment blocking handicap access from the parking lot to the recreation and restroom area between Flora Wylie Park and Gizella Kopsick Arboretum. Was assisting a paraplegic at the North Shore Aquatic public restroom next to the kids seawall playground (he couldn't maneuver his wheel chair into the raised restroom as he couldn't hold the door open and swing his chair into the doorway from the small outside landing). Told him about the restrooms by the 12th Ave Tennis Courts, but he said he can never pass all the exercise people and equipment on the only wheelchair accessible sidewalk. Sad!! He called the Parks Department to complain but was told that USAFit had a permit to occupy the sidewalk.

Electrical cable hanging from a tree for over a month. Chased two teenage skateboarders away from swinging on them. Stopped two City Workers driving a green club car on the sidewalk looking at their phones and they said to contact the city.

A Looper Trolley is parked at this location more than six hours daily. This creates dangerous traffic situations for this busy area. Traffic turning east onto 2nd Ave N from Bay Shore Dr NE often have to "dodge" those traveling in the far right lane of 2nd Ave N in an attempt to go around the trolley. The distance from the trolley to the intersection of Bay Shore Dr NE and 2nd Ave N is only 100 feet. Not much time for opposing traffic to adjust to prevent an accident. This is a high traffic area which only will get busier once the New Pier is completed. This is a road...not a parking spot!!!!

For over a year, One Condominium construction personnel and local businesses use the Public "A" parking area Monday through Friday from 8am until 4pm preventing tax payers parking access to Demens Landing. Have reported to Demens Landing Office, City of St Pete Parking and Rick Kriseman's Office without a response. These are the same vehicles that park every weekday, all day in parking reserved for park users. They need to park in paid areas of the empty parking garages and dolphin pier parking or pay for street parking like all other downtown non-resident visitors.

Handicap Parking Sign not in compliance with the Florida Statutes: "Accessible parking spaces:
To mark accessible parking spaces, you must designate each accessible space with a sign that is white on blue, with “Parking by disabled permit only” written on it, and “Fine $250” on it. The sign should also include the International Symbol of Access in blue and white. The sign should be minimum 12” x 18”. If the space is van-accessible, “van accessible” should also be included on the sign."
Informed business and code compliance. Neither party interested.

Man covered the "NO" in the sign "No Dogs on Beach or in Water" in the water past the seawall. Then took his dog and both played in the bay. The dog was not on a leash. Alerted a city maintenance employer, who just laughed and drove his "gator" down the trail sidewalk looking at his cell phone. Took the cover off the sign on the seawall, but couldn't reach the sign in the water.

Why is there a no left hand turn sign as you exit Demens Landing onto Bayshore Dr? There are two lanes "striped" for vehicle traffic going north and south both ways. Makes it very hard to get to Dali and Airport Park. Seen near accidents.
