This property has had regular complaints from neighbors for years now. See my previous report from 2021 as well as the recent report Issue ID: 14203571. This photo is the view from the fifth floor of a condo at 850 Atlantic St. - this is what the resident views out their window daily. It's also an ugly view on the road to our beautiful park. This owner has been reported on for years. Please force him to clean up this mess of construction debris, old sinks etc. as it's disgusting. Seaside Village property next to it is kept spotless by their staff, and our condo association has a landscaper visit weekly at a huge expense, who also picks up debris from the park and visitors who leave trash daily along this stretch of road. This owner needs to keep up his property also!

"Welcome to Seaside Park" - This property has been an eyesore for years. Most visible in the winter months, they have not cleaned the garbage for at least a decade. Residents of Seaside Village are forced to view this as they use their dog park, and dozens of residents of 850 Atlantic Street are forced to view it from their windows. We are unable to clean this garbage and dumped building supplies ourselves as it's gated. There is also a large tree about to fall and damage Seaside Park's fence, already damaged once by a tree on this lot in the past year. Is this city land, or owned by Sikorsky or the business directly behind it? Pleas have the owner clean up this lot immediately, it's a blight on our lovely park area as well as our city and shoreline. Street# was assigned by google maps, it's directly across from Baseball field 15, just past the busstop. GPS coordinates from frontage: 41°9'46.57" N 73°11'56.67" W.

25 MPH Speed Limit sign came down in one of our crazy wind storms late last year. The remaining post is rusty and dangerous and directly in the path of pedestrians walking to the bus stop and dog walkers in the park. It is currently covered with an orange cone and located directly across from our electrical box/middle pole at 850 Atlantic Street, about 60-70 feet before the bus stop ramp.

This fenced corner of Iranistan Ave. and Ridge Avenue is filled with garbage again - everything from chair to a dangerous full length mirror. Residents of the neighborhood are unable to gain access to this fence area to clean it ourselves, and it's a shame the lovely lady who lives next to the garbage dumping area has to look at this out her window daily, let alone at the big pile of demolition debris. The entire South End neighborhood would really appreciate this being cleaned up again, as this street is the entrance area to our beautiful Seaside park and it's a shame this is how we say "WELCOME TO BRIDGEPORT"!. Thank you!

This ENORMOUS pothole, at the entrance/exit of a 50 unit building was first reported on 04/16/2017. It was filled once since then, and the spray fill barely lasted until that fall; See the 2017 report to see how this crater has grown - it's caused damage to many of the cars in this building and it needs to be properly fixed so it LASTS. This is not the condos property so we cannot fix it ourselves. The spray machine fills barely last 6 months, please fill this properly with asphalt this time so the damage to everyone's car ends - it's been 2 years that we've been requesting this repair. In that time, thousands of dollars of damage has been done to residents cars.

The base of the Gustave Whitehead Memorial has remained broken for several years. Is this just going to stay like this forever? What a shame - and an eyesore. Certainly not the best way to say "Welcome to Bridgeport" as people cross into the city from Fairfield.

There is a guy who shows up 3-5 days per week, usually between 11:30 and noon, and hits golf balls towards the sound, WHILE people are walking on the seawall and kids playing soccer etc in the fields. Today he is aimimg balls right towards the city workers on the baseball field closest to the sound. It's illegal to golf in Seaside Park, yet this guy does it regulary. Someone is going to get hurt now that the weather has people all over the park. His dog is usually tied up nearby barking away as he golfs. It's not only illegal but EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to have him golfing here. He doesn't stay long, and the several times I've called the police non- emergency line he's gone before they can get here. But for the sake of the children and people walking in the park, this guys needs to be told to stop!!

This issue Issue ID: 4076000, reported on 1/29/18 is now archived, yet NOTHING WAS DONE???!! Neighborhood residents are more than willing to clean up this horrible mess of garbage if we are given permission to climb over the fence. If you are not going to do it, we will. Why is the issue already archived when the garbage was never cleaned up. We need permission to clean it up OURSELVES if the city is not willing to clean up this blighted area - which is a horrible view for residents as well as anyone traveling to our beautiful Seaside Park.

BLIGHT on CITY OWNED PROPERTY - It's bad enough residents have to live next to fenced in demolition and boarded up buildings for years, but the fenced in area is filled with trash that needs to be CLEANED UP. We residents who pick up trash in our neighborhood and park DAILY are unable to clean this up due to it being fenced in by the city. This mess on CITY OWNED property makes the entrance road to our beautiful Seaside Park and UB area look horrible and affects entire neighborhood. Please take care of this ASAP since residents cannot access.

This sinkhole that's been here for at least a year is causing EVERY AUTO exiting our parking garage to Atlantic St. to bottom out - and just caused a flat tire. It's getting worse by the day, it's now completely breaking up and filling with water. Please fill this to avoid further damage to the 50 cars in this lot.

Well they slowed down last week after you contacted - but only for a DAY Or Two. Bus Route #9 the driver flew down Atlantic Street so fast on the 9:30ish run the entire 5 story bldg shook. Sd I have been saying for about 4 YEARS if they don't drive slowly down this residential street in front of the park full of children, elderly, and several DISABLED people in our bldg who cross the street to the bus stop regualarly - SOMEONE is going to get hurt or worse. Slow the #9 buses down on Atlantic Street GBT!! They are hurrying to their break spot, speeding daily down Atlantic to Barnum Dyke.

Speed of the GBT Buses on Atlantic. This has been an issue for years, GBT buses As the pass the park travel at a high rate of speed DAILY. They FLY, past children, elderly and sports players going crossing street and entering park. One of these days they are going to injure someone if they don't slow down. I have almost been hit broadside a dozen times over the years exiting our condos parking garage. SLOW THE BUSES DOWN NEAR PARK BEFORE THEY KILL SOMEONE!!!. Mayor Finch dealt with this for us several years ago, lnow ong forgotten, they are speeding down Atlantic to their break spot daily again...

The pot holes are so deep from 832-850 Atlantic, several in middle of street, that GBT bus hits them 2x EVERY 30 mins as they pass, shaking our entire 5 story bldg at 850 Atlantic. Pictures actually fall off walls...

Route 9 Buses SPEEDING DOWN ATLANTIC STREET to end of line at Beach entrance daily, traveling at high speed. We have been complaining aboutt this issue to GBT and to Mayor's office for YEARS now. There are children and elderly in this park/residentlial area. Does someone have to get hurt to slow these guys down racing to there break/turnaround spot? Our entire 5 story building shakes every 30 mins as they SPEED down Atlantic Street.
