I am astounded to see so many litterbugs living in this area! I even saw a dirty baby diaper atop a stormwater drain. Were these litterbugs never taught personal responsibility at home, or school? What can we do to change the culture of litterbugging when there is no accountability and no negative feedback loop? It is storm season so we need city workers on a frequent basis to help us with curb-side and storm drain monitoring of harmful litter.

Please will someone at the county level keep us posted on the clean up efforts from the catastrophic sewage spill on Palm Sunday, Apr. 14th? This is the largest recorded spill in the entire State of Florida so far this year. How many gallons flowed into Lake Maggorie, and what is being done to de-contaminate the llake? Boyd Hill Nature Preserve wildlife, flora and fauna will be poisoned by this hazardous spill if not de-contaminated soon!

THANK YOU for leaving this conservation easement alone. We need more eco-friendly spots like this on our Island. Our protected wading, song and shorebirds thrive when there are spaces left like this one.We have desimated nature's habitats to the extend there's hardly any natural space left. Please leave this alone, just as it is, and thank you in advance for allowing it to thrive in a healthy, natural way!
