Golden Valley Denizen

We were fortunate enough to receive 2 Dutch Elm Disease resistant elms late last summer / early fall to replace the 2 which had been removed by Algonquin a couple of years ago. I am sad to say that there have been no buds opening or apparent new leaf growth this spring while all of the other foliage in the neighborhood seems to be in full bloom. Would we be lucky, and these elms bloom late or might they not have survived transplanting / the winter? (See pic.) Thank you!
