This dead tree hanging over the sidewalk and power lines may be right on the edge of public/private property, but it is dangerous. Pieces have previously dropped onto the sidewalk and a winter storm and this tree will equal a power outage that will inconvenience East Side residents. If it is on private property, take it down anyway as a public safety issue and put a lien on the owner’s house.

We trimmed 2 street trees that were overhanging the driveway openings and have piled in the street. Please come by with a chipper to remove. Thank you.

This bush on the corner of Maple and Martin - it’s just off the sidewalk but probably within the 40’ city street right of way for Martin St. It makes sight distance an issue when turning left from Martin onto Maple. Cars need to nose way out to see oncoming traffic before turning. It would be great if it could be trimmed smaller or transplanted.

The trees along the walkway from Martin Street, along the ballfields and into the Thacher School desperately need to be trimmed. There are few hanging dead branches, and lots of low hanging ones that hit an average height person in the head while walking. Branches have fallen during past storms, and someone is going to get hurt this winter if they are not cut back before the snow falls. I know there has been finger pointing in the past about whether maintenance is a school or city responsibility, but the sign on the black chain link fence clearly states that the fields are under the jurisdiction of the Recreation Commission

There are 2 branches down from last weeks storm. Dragged to the side of the road, but please send chipper - too large for trash.

When you have staff back from the pandemic, it would be great if Forestry would finish the cleanup from the tornado last August that was started but not finished along the city walkway from Martin St to the Thacher School. They need a brush chipper for the large pile that was thrown against the neighbor’s fence and a backhoe to remove the logs and stump that were just pushed to the side. There is low hanging brush and vines along the walkway, too.

Just wondering if the Forestry Dept is going to finish the clean-up along the walkway from Martin Street to the Thacher Elementary School after the summer storm. There are 3 trees they didn't finish cutting, logs rolled to the side that need to be hauled away, a stump half out of the ground that is going to injure kids that climb on it, brush to be chipped, etc. There is also a stump half out of the ground probably around # 20 Martin that would be in the city right of way if there were sidewalks there. An elderly person lives in that house ... city should clean it up and fill in the hole.

I reported a leak in the irrigation system near the little league field at the Thatcher School on 5/3/17 (a month ago). Supposedly the school dept. was supposed to fix it and the matter was closed on this website. Nothing has been done and it's still leaking.

The sprinkler near first base on the Little League Field at the Thatcher Elementary School (small field near far corner of field near Martin Street) has been leaking for awhile. Not only is the waste of water unfortunate, but it has created a sinkhole which makes the field unsafe for the kids.
