This is regarding the new lighting along the shoreline The work appears to be complete and most of the lights are working. However three random lights are not working, two of the short style and one tall light. Hopefully they will be fixed before the city makes its final payment to the contractor

Also, near to where the request is indicated on the map, one tall light was placed into the end of a tree branch making it ineffective .,.,-..

52 Berkshire Rd Alameda CA 94502, United States - Alameda
This tree blocks the sidewalk. The branches have large, sharp thorns Somebody could get hurt. A mother pushing a stroller can't easily get around it. Given the thorns, it should not be near the sidewalk, much less blocking it. Other less dangerous foliage is also encroaching the sidewalk.

There is a set of lights running north along shoreline park from the Harbor Bay Ferry dock and around the point. They are the tall streetlight type, not the short posts being replaced. The tall lights end where the short post lights begin.

Less than half the tall streetlight type are functioning. Hence it gets very dark. They don't look damaged. Perhaps they only need bulb replacement.

The non-supporting wood lamp post is rotting through The metal support is fine. Still, might be a hazard and the lamp is completely broken.

I first posted about the broken lights along this path for maybe 8 years. Hope to see a fix before I die...

Short cut removed. Before recent construction there was a terrific short cut path from the Mitchell Ave - Bette St intersection through to Estuary Park and the ferry. Now it has been blocked of requiring a much longer route around. Please reopen.

When open during business hours this gate blocks much of the bike path. This caused an accident for me when I had to swerve to avoid something and hit the gate. I went in and asked them to figure out how to not block the path but they have done nothing about it.

What were they thinking when they installed this in the walkway by the Oakland-Alameda Ferry terminal? It's dangerous for somebody walking or biking to hit or fall on.
