We rent this house and we noticed a weed in the back yard and in the surrounding yards. I did some research and found out this is Japanese Knotweed. This is a foreign invasive plant that is very difficult to get rid of and spreads like wild fire. This plant is a very big issue in the UK and Ireland. I am unsure who to contact about this. Is there a way to send out a letter to inform the neighborhood of this plant? Is it required for people to try to get rid of this plant? Would this be the owners responsibility or the renter?
