6720 Glendower Rd Raleigh NC 27613, United States - Northwest
Please consider evaluating the traffic patterns where Glendower intersects Lynn. Cars speed so fast approaching this intersection that I fear getting hit. The other night it was dark and two cars increased their speed and I had to swerve into the oncoming turn lane to avoid being hit. Another stop light would be far more practical. This would help with the pedestrian cross walk that is frequently ignored by cars, which is used by many people trying to get to lake Lynn or the greenway by bike or on foot. There are also many frequent accidents here. It's really terrifying.

In addition to my previous claim (#863902) on Wooden Shoe Lane in reference to the horribly deteriorating asphalt, the area around the manhole cover is cracked and loose. Particularly after rain. We are concerned for the safety of our children. As said in my other ticket request, completely repaving the Holland Park subdivision would make our community safer. The street is over 40 years old at this point and I have seen neighborhood less than a decade old that have been repaved.

The asphalt on Wooden Shoe Lane (single family home side) and Dutch Garden Court within the Holland Park Subdivision is in desperate need of repaving. The gravel within the asphalt has come loose. There are large, bulky pieces of rock poking through the surface. We are a neighborhood with children who are constantly falling and hurting themselves. Yes, kids fall andget scraped up, but I have no doubt that the injuries would be fewer and less serious if they had a smoother surface on which to play. We also have an elderly man who cannot use his walker on the asphalt as it stands because it will tear up the bottom. The manhole area is also cracked and loose, but I'll submit a separate ticket for that.
