    Homeless encampment on the walkway close to the Front Room at the Wharf restaurant.

    A living-in Vehicles Homeless Encampment has taken over the parking lot, boat ramp and bathrooms at the boat launch.

    This morning at about 7:00 am, it was observed that at least 12 RVs and/or, buses, campers and large vans, were parked and set up for over night stay, with at as many vehicles parked near them. In addition to the motor-homes and vehicles, also noted were a few tents set up, grills, chairs and other items out in plain sight. There was even a boat tethered and stuck in the mud down on the boat launch.

    This parking lot has turned into a KOA camp ground.

    Flat passenger rear tire.

    Rear passenger door not fully closed.

    VPD notified last week, did not respond. Anyone get their car stolen?
