    200 Grand Avenue Oakland, California - Adams Point
    Construction to the sidewalk on the north side of Grand in front of Veteran's Hall. A concrete pad was removed and "roped off". The segment of sidewalk is no longer accessible for those with ADA needs. No signage indicates to pedestrians coming from either direction of the sidewalk gap. Please send inspector to ensure traffic control is properly signed. Thanks.

    The intersection of Grand Avenue/Park View Terrace is unsafe. Near misses occur all the time between pedestrians and vehicles; vehicles often fail to stop on red. This intersection is wide, does not provide a pedestrian countdown head for peds crossing Grand Avenue headed toward Park View Terrace, cycle length is very long and pedestrians waiting to cross Grand have to wait very long periods because through vehicle traffic on Grand Ave is prioritized (even during off-peak hours), the eastbound right-turn from Grand onto Bellevue is a VERY large radius turn and vehicles do not slow/stop even though pedestrians and bicycles are present.
