Someone put out a Christmas tree and a wreath about 40 feet away from each other on the sidewalk. These have been here for about two weeks now.

There is no sidewalk here despite heavy usage from locals because of the excellent water views. Frequently runners, strollers, and moms with babies are found here. This road is also wide and encourages fast driver speeds, particularly downhill. This creates much risk of collision/harm.

Something hit and dragged across the street super hard, scraping up some of the asphalt. Not sure if this will require maintenance to prevent street issues over time.

  • Crosswalk Archived
Lincoln St Portland ME 04101, United States - Portland
This crosswalk is quite dangerous to pedestrians due to the risk of driver error from the angle Lincoln meets Forest Ave (~30 degrees). Drivers are looking hard left up Forest Ave trying to find a quick moment to pop into the high speedoncoming traffic. At the same time, pedestrians enterthe crosswalk from the far right (beyond drivers peripheral vision), deep in a drivers blind spot to the right. This makes it dangerously easy to run over a pedestrian without seeing them step in front of the car due to the acute angle of the intersection and need to quickly jump into fast moving traffic with infrequent and small breaks in traffic. Adjusting Lincoln to meet Forest Ave at a 90 degree angle instead of a 30 degree angle as well as a pedestrian bump out/shorter crosswalk could very well save a life, especially the life of a small child with low visibility. Most importantly, there is a school, church, playgroun, and children's ballet school in the near vicinity. There are also many coffee shops nearby frequented by parents.

This intersection is extremely confusing and hard to cross. Cars travel at great speed, and pedestrians have no idea when it’s safe to cross. This is a heavily trafficked route by college students and vehicles.
  • 360 College St Burlington 05401, United States - Burlington Electric
There are no safety cross signs here. It’s really hard to tell whether the light is green or red, and whether or not I’ll get run over. I don’t know when I have right of way or when drivers have right of way, and I don’t even think there are crosswalks. Even a simple flashing pedestrian sign would make me feel much safer here.
